Resveratrol is part of a group of compounds called polyphenols, which acts like an antioxidant in the body.  It’s naturally found in foods such as red grapes, berries, and peanuts. Resveratrol helps protect against cellular and tissue damage, which can give rise to cancer. It has also shown to have anti-tumor effects on certain cancers. Due to this product’s antioxidant effects, this product should be avoided 1 week before, during, and for 4 weeks after radiation.
